    The port of Huorguosi lies within the boundaries of Huocheng county of Kazak Autonomous Prefecture of Ili.     According to the introduction of port secretary of management committee Jia YiSheng in Huorguosi, in 2004, the port will realize total output value of 214 million yuan, realizing 570 million dollars of foreign trade turnover, 430,000 tons of cargoes imported and exported, finish industrial added value of 73,350,000 yuan, invite outside investment and put the fund of 305 million yuan in place.

    The port of Huorguosi is putting forth effort to structure the Sino-Kazakhstan international cooperative centre , industrial park , international logistics centre , four major economic areas of central business district of border of Huorguosi at present. Among them the Sino-Kazakhstan international cooperative centre of border of Huorguosi stretches over the frontier area of China and Kazakhstan along the boundary river, the whole area is 14.36 sq. km., is carrying on the preparatory work in earlier stage . The industrial park settles in 14 enterprises, gross investment is nearly 392 million yuan. International commerce trading center has already put the first stage of project of central business district into operation on August 5, the plan comes into operation in May of 2006.
